This legendary place also reveals the remarkable cave from which Amaterasu, lured by the mischievous dance of Ame-no-Uzume, re-emerged and brought the sun goddess back into the world. These historical tales add a remarkable level of spiritual resonance to the rich flavor of Sencha Takachiho, making each sip a journey into the heart of Japanese culture.

The Sencha Takachiho impresses with a gentle sweetness and a full, natural umami that makes it strongly reminiscent of a fine Gyokuro. This harmony of flavors is achieved through traditional cultivation methods and careful processing, which gives it its incomparable quality and depth.

For an optimal enjoyment experience, it is recommended to brew 5 grams of tea with 450 ml of water at a temperature of 70°C. Allow the first infusion to infuse for 60-90 seconds, while an infusion time of just 5 to 15 seconds is sufficient for the second to fourth infusion.
