Only the finest leaves of the Camellia sinensis are used here: the top two leaves of the tea bush. This selection gives the matcha an exceptional fineness and enhances its taste in the most exquisite way. Unlike Uji Matcha, it is remarkably smooth and has a subtle note that is hardly reminiscent of astringency.
Our organic matcha is carefully ground into a fine powder using a traditional stone mill in a complex process. This method preserves all the valuable ingredients and ensures an unadulterated taste profile that connoisseurs will appreciate.
Ideal for preparing a perfect matcha tea for the traditional Japanese tea ceremony, each generous 20 gram tin is a gem that meets all the requirements of the DE-ÖKO-039 organic certification body.
We recommend 1-2 grams per 300 ml of water to bring out the full flavor of the matcha.
The optimum water temperature is a maximum of 80°C (176°F) to preserve the precious aroma of this exquisite tea.
