A feast for your senses: Kumamoto Kikuchi Sencha tea organic
The organic Kumamoto Kikuchi Sencha tea transports you to a world of fine indulgence, where tradition and nature merge to create a harmonious tea experience. This organically grown Sencha grows in the picturesque tea gardens of the Kumamoto region, which extend 300 to 500 meters above sea level. Amidst the pristine landscape north-east of the majestic Aso volcano, 179 hectares are dedicated to the sublime tea plants that thrive in the changing weather conditions.
The idyll of the Kikuchi Valley
The Kikuchi Valley, a poetic landscape painting, lies under a green blanket of deciduous trees. Here, the Kikuchi River flows gracefully through the hilly landscape and provides the precious spring water from the famous Kikuchi spring - an elixir of life that gives the tea its incomparable freshness. The local people honor this tea as "Kikuchi Suigen", a source of inspiration and well-being.
Aromatic unfolding
With the first sip, Kumamoto Kikuchi Sencha unfolds its sweet, round aromas and leaves a refreshingly smooth aftertaste that carries the typical essence of the region. The characteristic umami, a sign of the mist-shrouded landscape, beguiles your senses.
